Engineered Walnut Flooring Installation – San Pablo Creek Reserve

Custom home - San Pablo Creek ReserveThis flooring project involved installing 7 1/2″ wide, engineered Walnut plank flooring by LW Flooring in a new home under construction by one of our custom home builders.

The project home is located in the San Pablo Creek Reserve neighborhood in Southside Jacksonville.

As always, first and foremost, we did the floor leveling. Our crew leveled the concrete slab subfloor to prepare it for the wood flooring installation.

Leveling guarantees a strong bond to subfloor and a solid sounding floor versus a hollow floor sound!

Then we installed the 7 1/2″ wide engineered Walnut flooring using Bostik green force adhesive. Our crew used flooring straps when installing this Walnut flooring, because of the width of the flooring planks.

Hickory Hardwood Flooring Installation – Plantation Oaks in Ponte Vedra Beach

Dan’s Floor Store works to make every wood flooring installation a good experience. Clients that are pleased with our work often recommend us to friends and family.

Engineered wide plank Hickory flooring installedThis wood flooring project was the result of a recommendation from one of the local real estate agents who often recommends Dan’s Floor Store to their clients who want to improve the home that they are considering with wood or tile floors, or professionally refinishing the old, existing wood flooring.

The couple wanted 1350 square feet of existing wood and tile flooring in the home removed, and new wood flooring installed. We can do that!

The couple picked 1/2″ by 7 1/2″ wide planks of engineered Hickory hardwood flooring, in a style called Monticello Hearthsone, by Max Woods.

We stacked the boxes of flooring planks to the side of the work area, and set up a temporary work shop on the back patio of the home. Special flooring straps are used to hold these wood planks together during installation, due to the width of the planks.

The installed Hickory hardwood flooring look excellent and the homeowners were very happy.
