Refinish and Whitewash Heart Pine Floors in St. Augustine

This job took place in a home in the historic Lincolnville neighborhood of St. Augustine, Florida. Our clients contracted Dan’s Floor Store 904.887.8303, wanting their Heart Pine wood floors refinished with a cool, whitewashed look.

We began this flooring improvement project by sanding and hand scraping the edges of the Heart Pine wood floors. This step removes the old finish and prepares the wood floors for the whitening sealer.

Our crew applied durable Pallmann products. We started with Pallmann Pall-X Whiteseal to achieve the whitewashed look our clients wanted.

Our crew applied two coats of Pallmann Pall-X Power. When that finish had fully cured, we buffed the wood floors down, and applied a final coat – Pallmann Pall-X Gold Ultra Matte.
