New Build Hardwood Flooring Install – Jax Beach

One of our favorite local new home builders contracted Dan’s Floor Store 904.887.8303 to install some new hardwood flooring in south Jacksonville Beach. This newly built house required 3,500 square feet of wood flooring!

Our crew began by leveling the downstairs concrete subfloor with Bostik‘s SL-175 leveler. We leveled the subfloor upstairs by sanding the edges of the sheet plywood subfloor. It’s highly important to level the subfloor so that the wood flooring rides evenly on the subfloors.

Next our crew installed the Reward brand, Terreno Collection, color Conte, hardwood flooring. This flooring is a rustic grade, 9 1/2″ wide x 5/8″ thick European oak, and it comes in random lengths, to make it more appealing to the eye. We used Bostik’s Green Force adhesive for the installation. (Green Force is a moisture vapor barrier adhesive with no VOCs and is Floor Score Certified).
